On our last day of Go Week, we came together to finish the backyard at the Foster Village. This included staining the fence, completing the rock work for the patio, assembling a new sofa for their office, and taking a big load of trash to the city dump. Our team was so grateful to have teamed up with Holly from Foster Village to make an impact on the organization. We love Hyde Park and can’t believe the work we accomplished this week!

Round Rock Serving Center- Day 4
Mrs. Carlyle and Mrs. Adair‘s GoWeek groups finished indoor and outdoor projects today on the last days of serving. Old mulch and topsoil was shoveled, raked, and loaded into wheelbarrows then packed into cinder blocks used to enclose the gardens. New mulch was then laid around these gardens. The outdoor crew worked hard and finished a very rewarding week seeing the results of their labor come into fruition. The indoor students continued working to sort through the overwhelming amounts of donated clothing and books to help staff prepare their sales floors. The week was a huge success with bonds formed all around.

Hyde Park 8th grade girls learned art techniques to relieve stress. The student’s art will be donated, once prepared for hanging.
Putting Our Community First!
Today for Go Week our 7th-grade kiddos had the opportunity to pack boxes of food for our friends at Community First! Village. We gave our students a “shopping list” and a recipe to follow to make sure that each box had the correct ingredients. We then wrote letters of encouragement and made bracelets with words of encouragement to help uplift our friends at the Village. It was an amazing project that allowed our students to learn about homelessness and hunger in our area. After our service, we were treated to Mighty Fine! Burgers and Kona Ice by one of our families. Thank you for an amazing GoWeek!
1st Grade Thanking Officers
4K- Day 4
For the last day of GOWeek, 4K created and delivered thank you notes to the police officers who serve as crossing guards at Hyde Park. We are so thankful for community helpers; Thank you police officers!
2nd Grade- Day 4
Second graders enjoyed a Valentines party a little late! Fun was still had by all and the anticipation of waiting made it even better!
8th Grade- Day 4
The 8th grade boys disassembled the Cinderella set and cleaned and organized the Leadership Hall stage.
