Los Angeles*Night Before GoWeek Chapel

58,000 precious people live homeless in Los Angeles.  It’s one of the nation’s largest homeless populations.  And Joshua Expeditions is doing something about that.  Offering hope.  The homeless population has surged in these past few years and it is daunting how many live on the streets— with kids wandering with no place to stay in America. No bed to lay their head.

Thirteen HP students have the privilege to serve these marginalized folks in LA through various projects like:  feeding the homeless, repairing homes, and children’s ministry.  We go to offer hope from the God of all hope.  And I believe we will be deeply touched by these people who have fallen on some hard times.  May we offer much joy as we collide with some of our country’s great need.

“May the God of Hope fill all of us with joy and peace as we trust in Him, so that we may overflow with hope in our new friends’ lives—by His Power.  Romans 15:13
